Abstract:
The present invention relates to a disc brake pad for a vehicle, and more particularly, to a disc brake pad for preventing heat transfer, which reduces the amount of heat transferred into a hydraulic cylinder to improve braking efficiency. To this end, the disc brake pad according to the present invention includes: a friction material (21) connected to the driveshaft of an engine so as to directly contact a rotating disc (10) having a circular-plate shape, thereby decelerating or stopping a vehicle; and a backing plate (22) supporting the friction material (21) so as to transfer the oil pressure of a caliper (30). A heat-blocking heterogeneous material (23) is inserted into the portion contacting the caliper (30) of the backing plate (22) through hot pressing.
