Title:
DIRECT CURRENT GENERATOR UTILIZING MULTI-BRUSH
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2019/135583
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to provide a direct current generator which comprises: a field (140) having a plurality of field iron cores (141) on which a field coil (142) is wound; an armature coil (150) formed to surround the circumference of the field (140) while being separated at certain intervals; a commutator (110) having a plurality of commutator pieces (111) circularly arranged by being connected to the field coil (142) in a one-to-one relationship on one end of the field (140); a commutator brush holder (112) having four pairs of commutator brushes (113) while having a phase difference at 45 degrees on each inner wall to be tightly attached to the commutator piece (111); a slip disk terminal (115) fixed to a casing (170) to be tightly attached to a commutator distributor (114) so as to correspond to the commutator distributor (114); and a DC motor (2) coupled to the commutator brush holder (112) for rotation. As an inverse concept of a conventional direct current generator, the present invention lightly rotates a brush holder bracket (119) by means of a DC motor (2) so as not to waste external power and energy necessary for forcible rotation, the brush holder bracket (119) being slidably coupled to a fixed shaft without rotating the field (140) and the commutator (110) and at the same time, fixedly coupled to a motor rotation shaft (101), and the present invention is an extremely useful invention that enables the armature coil (150) to generate four-phase induced electromotive force so as to generate power with excellent economic efficiency. In yet another embodiment of the present invention, an armature (250) and a field (240) are installed independently in an inner space of a power generation unit housing (220), and the armature (250) and the field (240) are configured to be separated and installed in a distributor housing (230) by using a series connection of a first commutator (210a) and a second commutator (210b), a series connection of the first commutator (210a) and a brush type slip ring (205a), or a hollow type slip ring (205b). When the second commutator (210b) or the brush type slip ring (205a) is supplied by the DC current (221), a brush holder (212) is rotated by a DC motor shaft (202), and a DC current (221) is connected to the first commutator (210a) by a brush (213), is transmitted to a field coil (242) by a coil connecting line (243), and is connected to an armature coil (252) by the coil connecting line (253). When the inside of the hollow type slip ring (205b) is rotated by the DC motor shaft (202) while being supplied by DC current (221), the hollow type slip ring (205b) is connected to the DC current (221), is transmitted to the field coil (242) by the coil connecting line (243), and is connected to the armature coil (252) by the coil connecting line (253). Accordingly, when the positive electrode (+) and the negative electrode (-) are sequentially and continuously alternately applied to the second commutator (210b), the brush type slip ring (205a) or the hollow type slip ring (205b), which correspond to one another, the electromotive force is continuously generated in the corresponding armature coil (252) while the positive electrode (+) and the negative electrode (-) are sequentially and continuously alternately applied to the corresponding field iron core (241), and the electromotive force is derived through an output wiring (260) connected to the armature coil (252). As such, the present invention is a very useful invention that has good usability of space for a driving device of a moving means, and is easy to be manufactured, installed and used.
