Abstract:
In a diaphragm according to an embodiment, an outer surface of a bottom wall closes off, from one side in the axial direction, a tubular circumferential wall forming a main valve body section, and forms a contact surface with a valve seat. A groove recessed from one side to the other side in the axial direction and extending in the circumferential direction is formed in an inner peripheral portion of a diaphragm part protruding from the circumferential wall, and the cross-sectional shape of the groove is an arc-like shape. In the diaphragm part the surface of an inner peripheral portion facing the other side in the axial direction and the surface of an outer peripheral portion are flush with each other, the thickness of the outer peripheral portion is 2/5 – 3/5 the thickness of the main valve body section, and the minimum thickness of the inner peripheral portion is 1/4 – 1/3 the thickness of the outer peripheral portion. An inner peripheral edge of the inner peripheral portion connects with a portion that includes the axial center point of an outer circumferential surface of the circumferential wall, and the surface of the outer peripheral portion facing the one side in the axial direction is located between a position separated to the one side and a position separated to the other side, in the axial direction, at a distance of 3/20 of the thickness of the outer peripheral portion from the contact surface. The size of the inner peripheral portion in the radial direction from the inner peripheral edge to the outer peripheral edge is 5/10 – 7/10 the size of the outer peripheral portion in the radial direction from the inner peripheral edge to the outer peripheral edge.
