Abstract:
A diaphragm valve is opened and closed to cause two flow paths (14a, 15a) to communicate with each other and to be shut off from each other. A diaphragm unit (31) disposed in the valve housing (13) in a floating manner is provided with a hollow valve body (32) disposed so as to be reciprocatable in the axial direction, and the hollow valve body (32) has formed therein a communication flow path (32a) for causing the two flow paths (14a, 15a) to communicate with each other. A first diaphragm (34) is provided to one end of the hollow valve body (32), and a second diaphragm (36) is provided to the other end. The communication flow path (32a) is closed by moving the hollow valve body (32) in the axial direction to make the hollow valve body (32) come in contact with a valve seat (42).
