Provided is a diagnostic system for a transformer having insulating oil and windings, the diagnostic system for a transformer comprising: a detection unit that detects the temperature and hydrogen at the upper and lower portions of the insulating oil; and a calculation unit that determines an abnormality, on the basis of detection values from the detection unit.
