Abstract:
Provided is a diagnostic device for a bearing device (1) which comprises: a gear (3); a slide bearing (4) that supports the gear rotatably; and an oil passage (6) that supplies a lubricant to the bearing surface (5) of the slide bearing. The diagnostic device is provided with: a first temperature sensor (51) that detects the temperature of the lubricant prior to the supply thereof to the bearing surface; a second temperature sensor (52) that detects the temperature of the lubricant after the lubricant has passed over the bearing surface; and a diagnostic unit (100) that is configured to determine that there is an anomaly in the bearing device when the difference between the temperatures detected by the first temperature sensor and the second temperature sensor is greater than or equal to a prescribed threshold and the state in which the difference between the temperatures is greater than or equal to the prescribed threshold has continued for a prescribed amount of time or longer.
