Abstract:
A device for separating a liquid mixture is provided with which it is possible to attain a higher recovery rate than before. This device comprises a cylindrical outer member 1, a rod-shaped inner member 2 coaxially disposed inside the outer member 1 and relatively rotatable, and a driving means 3 that rotates the inner member, wherein the inner member 2 has two helical guide walls 211 and 212 on its outer periphery. The relative rotation of the inner member 2 against the outer member 1 sends a specific substance along the guide walls 211 and 212 to thereby separate the substance. The valley width Vw (mm), which is the distance between the parallel guide walls 211 and 212, is 1.0 or greater with respect to the mountain width Mw (mm), which is the width of the guide walls 211 and 212. The Vw and the Mw have such a relationship with the outer diameter D (mm) that n·(Vw+Mw)/πD is 0.01-0.27.
