Abstract:
Provided are a development cartridge including a component that is one of the constituents of a joint, and an image forming device. The development cartridge 1 comprises: a development roller 3; a development roller gear 4 that can rotate with the development roller 3; a coupling gear 6 that engages with the development roller gear 4; and a joint member 7 that can rotate with the coupling gear 6. The joint member 7 includes a first protrusion 12 extending along a first radial direction of the coupling gear 6 and a second protrusion 13 extending along a second radial direction of the coupling gear 6, the second radial direction being the opposite of the first radial direction. The joint member 7 is pivotable relative to the coupling gear 6 about a third axis A3 extending along a direction intersecting with the first radial direction and the second radial direction.
