Abstract:
Provided is a developing device that enables stable image formation even under a hot and humid environment. The developing device (2) is provided with a brush roller (1) that comprises a core material (10) and a brush part (12), said brush part (12) being formed by flocking short conductive fibers (11) on the peripheral surface of the core material (10) and said brush part (12) holding a toner, wherein the short conductive fibers (11) are formed by coating non-conductive fibers with a copper compound and the moisture content of the brush part (12) is regulated to not exceed 5%.
