Abstract:
A developing cartridge (100), comprising a casing (1), a chip (7), a developing member (2) rotatably mounted in the casing (1), and a driving force receiving member (15) located at a longitudinal end of the casing (1). The driving force receiving member (15) is used for receiving a driving force from outside of the developing cartridge (100) so as to drive the developing member (2) to rotate. The chip (7) is provided with an electrical contact (72). The developing cartridge (100) further comprises a chip communication assembly (9), at least a portion of which acts as a movable member and can move between a first position and a second position with respect to the casing (1). Before the developing cartridge (100) is mounted, the movable member is in the first position, and the electrical contact (72) is disconnected from a power terminal outside of the developing cartridge (100) so that a communication connection cannot be established therebetween. As the developing cartridge (100) is mounted, the movable member moves from the first position to the second position, and in the second position, the movable member enables electrical communication to be achieved between the electrical contact (72) and the power terminal outside of the developing cartridge (100) to thereby establish a communication connection therebetween. Thus, during transport, the developing cartridge and the chip electrical contact (72) located therein are not damaged by an external component.
