Abstract:
Provided is a detent device that enhances the feel of moderation and that increases load during an operation of an oscillation member. A detent device (10) has: a base member (20); an oscillation member (40) that is supported so as to be oscillatable with respect to the base member (20), and that is provided with a detent part (45) having a plurality of projections (46, 47, 48, 49) and a plurality of fitting recesses (50, 51, 52) formed between the projections; a fitting member (60) that has an outer circumference (61) forming a circular and rod-like shape, that is supported so as to be slidable with respect to the base member (20), and that is fitted, at the outer circumference thereof, in the fitting recesses; and a coil spring (70) that biases the fitting member (60) in a direction fitting in the fitting recesses. The fitting member (60) is configured to overcome the projections and sequentially fit in the fitting recesses in association with oscillation of the oscillation member (40) with respect to the base member (20).
