Abstract:
In order to provide a sealing ring which is resistant to breakage, or, even in a case where breakage occurs, for which the existence of such breakage can be easily detected, this sealing ring comprises an annular member formed of an elastic material and a circular plate shaped member formed of metal and in which a flow path is formed passing through the thickness direction thereof. A recess is formed in the inner circumferential surface of the annular member. The outer diameter of the circular plate shaped member is smaller than the outer diameter of the annular member and larger than the inner diameter of the annular member, and in an arrangement where the circular plate shaped member is concentric with the annular member, the circular plate shaped member is removably fit into and secured in the recess of the annular member. An annular protrusion may be provided to a surface that contacts the coupling target surface of the annular member.
