Abstract:
Provided is a desalting device which includes a column wherein the bottom constitutes a protrudent part that protrudes downward and in which channeling is prevented and no dead space is formed in the column. The desalting device comprises a column packed with an ion-exchange resin, wherein the bottom of the column constitutes a protrudent part (1b) which has a shape protruding downward and a plurality of strainers (3) for water collection have been disposed in the protrudent part (1b), the strainers having been disposed only in a central region, excluding the periphery, of the inner surface of the protrudent part.
