Abstract:
A desalination system or the like disclosed in the present invention is equipped with: a water tank (11); a water-repellent particle layer (13) which is positioned below the water tank (11) and is composed of multiple water-repellent particles; a liquefaction layer (14) which is positioned below the water-repellent particle layer (13) and can liquefy water vapor that passes through the water-repellent particle layer (13) to produce the desalinated water; an inlet passage for a liquid supply passage (32) which can supply a liquid to the water tank (11); and a flow rate reduction unit (31) which is arranged on the inlet passage for the supply passage (32), has a wall surface that intersects the direction of the flow of a liquid in the supply passage (32), and can reduce the flow rate of a vapor or a liquid.
