Abstract:
Provided is a defoaming structure of a separation device, in which liquid foaming can be suppressed more effectively. According to an embodiment of this invention, a defoaming structure of a separation device comprises: a cyclone that has an introduction part including an inlet for introducing a liquid, and a drain part including an outlet that is provided at a lower end; and a tubular member surrounding the outlet at an interval and extending further downward than the outlet. The drain part includes: a first member connected with the introduction part; a second member that is connected with the first member and is provided with the outlet; and a first inner peripheral surface that is formed over an area from the first member to the second member and has an inner diameter that is reduced toward the lower portion. The outlet includes a second inner peripheral surface that is connected with the first inner peripheral surface and has an inner diameter that is increased toward the lower portion from the first inner peripheral surface in the extension direction. The tubular member includes a third inner peripheral surface surrounding the outlet, and an opening provided at an end. A virtual surface obtained by extending the second inner peripheral surface toward the third inner peripheral surface along the extension direction intersects the third inner peripheral surface.
