Abstract:
This data processing system is provided with: an area specification unit 3 for specifying a desired area on a map in a state wherein data stored in a first database 11 including geographic information is visualized on the map; an associated category specification unit 4 for specifying an association between an arbitrary data category included in the first database 11 and an arbitrary data category included in a second database 12; and a data retrieval unit 5 which extracts, from the first database 11, data in the data category specified as an association source category in data sets linked to geographic information related to the specified area, uses the extracted data as a search key to search the second database 12 for the data category specified as an association target category, and extracts data sets matching the search key.
