Abstract:
A data migration method and apparatus for redundant arrays of independent disks (RAID), and a device and a medium, which relate to the technical field of data storage. The method comprises: on the basis of a set capacity reduction quantity, and the total available capacity and an occupied capacity of RAID after the RAID is subjected to capacity reduction, performing capacity reduction on the RAID (S101); according to a stripe serial number before the RAID is subjected to capacity reduction, the number of available disks before capacity reduction, and the number of available disks after capacity reduction, determining a stripe serial number after capacity reduction (S102); in an inverted physical order of data blocks and according to the stripe serial number after capacity reduction and the number of available disks after capacity reduction, sequentially determining the destination coordinates of the data blocks (S103); according to the stripe serial number before capacity reduction and the number of available disks before capacity reduction, determining the starting coordinates of each data block (S104); and sequentially migrating the data blocks from the starting coordinates corresponding thereto to the destination coordinates corresponding thereto until the starting coordinates corresponding to the current data block are the same as the destination coordinates corresponding thereto, and ending a data migration operation (S105). Data migration for RAID is realized without affecting service continuity.
