Abstract:
A data migration method and apparatus, and a chip and a computer-readable storage medium, which relate to the technical field of storage. The method comprises: when a data migration request for a storage unit of a first storage medium is acquired, migrating data in the storage unit to a storage unit, which does not participate in unified addressing, in a second storage medium; routing a data access request of an application program during a migration process to the first storage medium or the second storage medium by means of querying a mapping relationship in a second unit mapping table and a migration state in a migration table; and after migration is completed, allocating an address of a second storage unit to the application program. Storage units, which participate in migration, do not need to be locked, a migration process is simplified; correspondingly, the duration of data migration is shortened, and the efficiency of data migration is improved.
