Abstract:
This data management apparatus manages data collected from an external data collection device, and comprises a communication circuit, a storage device, and an operation circuit. The storage device stores right information that determines the right of use of data by an external data analysis device. The operation circuit acquires, via the communication circuit from the data collection device, collected data in which data collected at a prescribed timing is associated with consent information that indicates the version of terms of use for data to which a user of the data collection device has provided consent at the timing, and stores the collected data in the storage device. The version of the terms of use corresponds to a use range of the data. Upon receiving a use request of the collected data via the communication circuit from a data analysis device, the operation circuit extracts, on the basis of the right information and the consent information of the collected data, data corresponding to the right of use of the data analysis device, and limits the range usable by the data analysis device to the extracted data from among the collected data.
