Abstract:
A damping force-variable shock absorber is disclosed. A damping force-variable shock absorber according to the present embodiment may comprise: a damping force control valve; and a solenoid for driving the damping force control valve, wherein the solenoid includes: a case having an opening formed through one side thereof to communicate with the damping force control valve; a coil provided in the case and providing a magnetic field; a rod moving along the longitudinal direction of the case and having one end extending through the opening; a plunger for holding the rod and moving the rod along the longitudinal direction under the influence of a magnetic field; a core through which one end of the rod extends to support the rod; and a guide disposed at the side of the other end of the rod to be fixed to the case and having a tapered sidewall formed at a lower part thereof.
