Abstract:
This damping force generation device 40 has: first and second adjustment parts 80, 90 each provided in a rotatable manner; first and second moving members 73, 75 that move along the respective axial directions by rotation of the first and second adjustment parts 80, 90; first and second valve parts 74, 76 that are respectively attached to the first and second moving members 73, 75 and that adjust the opening level of an oil flow passage; and a first auxiliary mechanism 77 for assisting in letting an operator know that the first adjustment part 80 has been rotated by a given amount upon rotation thereof. The first auxiliary mechanism 77 is housed in a second housing hole 75c formed in the second moving member 75.
