Abstract:
This damper 10 is provided with: a piston that is configured to reciprocally move by receiving force from one of a first member and a second member; a sliding member that slides on the piston according to the reciprocal movement of the piston; and a support member having a cylindrical portion and an insertion hole formed inside the cylindrical portion. The piston is inserted into the insertion hole. The sliding member has: a protruding portion that protrudes radially inward inside the cylindrical portion, and is brought into contact with an outer circumferential surface of the piston; an outer cylindrical portion disposed outside the cylindrical portion; and an extending portion that extends radially inward from an end of the outer cylindrical portion and that indirectly or directly links the protruding portion and the outer cylindrical portion.
