Description:
A CUTTING ELEMENT

TECHNICAL FIELD

The invention relates to a cutting element comprising at least a cutting body for cutting an element desired to be cut, and at least a cutting surface on the said cutting body.

BACKGROUND

Cutting elements such as knives are used continuously in various areas of life. The knives have a cutting surface. The said cutting surface serves as cutting by performing repeated friction movements on the element desired to be cut. In the current art, bread knives provide slicing of bread.

The serrated knife is one of the most common types of knives in homes. Although the main object of serrated knives is to cut bread, they are also used as ideal solutions to chop soft fruits and vegetables such as fresh Cheddar or tomatoes. A knife that cuts the bread well naturally cuts a variety of other elements well. However, serrated knives known in the current art cannot be unique according to the current art due to their ordinary serrated structure and exhibit ordinary posture.

The application GB695366A known in the literature relates to a knife. It is intended to provide a knife with an improved cutting edge. The present invention includes outwardly curved portions from successive teeth in the cutting portion of a knife. A knife edge according to the invention is provided with a combed or similar intermittent cutting edge, each consisting of alternating teeth joined on each side by recesses inclined inwardly and outwardly curved recesses and outwardly curved lengths to an outwardly curved length of the cutting edge. The teeth may be substantially V-shaped to provide pointed ends or in any other suitable manner to provide a straight edge length at their ends. The side edges of the teeth may be slightly inclined.

Although some studies have been carried out in the literature to improve knife technology, their serrated form crushes the bread by crushing the fresh bread during cutting and does not cut the stale bread in the desired slice thickness. In this case, the bread is crushed more than expected and deformed and the desired slice structure cannot be achieved.

All the problems mentioned above have made it necessary to make an innovation in the relevant technical field as a result.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to a cutting element in order to eliminate the above-mentioned disadvantages and bring new advantages to the relevant technical field.

It is an object of the invention to provide a cutting element for cutting various food products with minimal deformations.

In order to achieve all the objectives mentioned above and that will emerge from the following detailed description, the present invention is a cutting element with at least one cutting body, and at least one cutting surface on the said cutting body for cutting an element that is desired to be cut. Accordingly, its novelty comprises at least one thrusting tooth for immersing in the element desired to be cut on the said cutting surface, a plurality of cutting teeth provided between the thrusting teeth for cutting the element desired to be cut, the thrusting tooth having a V-form, the said cutting tooth having an oval form, the thrusting tooth has a predetermined height with respect to the cutting tooth in the direction of extension of the cutting surface. Thus, it is ensured that the desired cutting performance is achieved thanks to the fact that it has different types of cutting profiles.

A possible embodiment of the invention is characterized in that there are three cutting teeth between the thrusting teeth.

Another possible embodiment of the invention is characterized in that there are two cutting teeth between the thrusting teeth.

Another possible embodiment of the invention is characterized in that there are four cutting teeth between the thrusting teeth.

Another possible embodiment of the invention is characterized in that it is manufactured in a CNC grinding machine. Thus, an easy and standardized knife structure is obtained. Another possible embodiment of the invention is characterized in that it comprises at least one flat form on the cutting surface.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

In this detailed description, the subject of the invention is explained with examples that do not have any limiting effect only for a better understanding of the subject.

Figure 1 shows a representative side view of the cutting element (10) of the invention. Accordingly, the cutting element (10) of the invention is configured to allow the cutting of a predetermined element with minimal deformations. The cut element mentioned in the invention is a food product in a possible embodiment of the invention. This food product is especially bread. However, the element to be cut is not limited to this but can be an element with a lower hardness than the hardness of the cutting element (10).

The cutting element (10) has at least a cutting body (12) to perform the cutting action. The cutting element (10) has at least one handle (11) so that the cutting body (12) can be controlled by a user. The handle (11) is the part of the user that is at least partially surrounded by their hand and allows them to control the cutting body (12). The cutting body (12) has an essentially flat shape. The cutting body (12) is essentially made of a metal-based material. There is at least one cutting surface (121 ) on the side of the cutting body (12) facing the element to be cut. The cutting surface (121) is the first part of the cutting element (10) that is contacted with the element to be cut. This cutting surface (121 ) is rubbed on the element to be cut and the element is cut.

Figure 2 shows a representative zoomed cross-sectional view of the cutting element (10) of the invention. Accordingly, the cutting surface (121 ) on the cutting element (10) has a predetermined form. Accordingly, the cutting surface (121) comprises at least one cutting tooth (123) and at least one thrusting tooth (122). The cutting tooth (123) and the thrusting tooth (122) have a predetermined height (H) in the direction of the extension of the cutting surface (121 ). The thrusting tooth (122) is sized to be higher than the cutting tooth (123). The thrusting tooth (122) is inserted into the element to be cut because it is higher than the cutting tooth (123). The cutting tooth (123), on the other hand, allows the element to be cut by rubbing on the element to be cut. The fact that the thrusting tooth (122) is higher than the cutting tooth (123) allows the cutting element to serve as an aid to the cutting of the cutting teeth (123) during friction.

The thrusting tooth (122) has a V-form (V) so that it can be handled (11) on the element desired to be cut. The said V-form (V) is the state in which the opposing edges of the thrusting tooth (122) are disposed at a predetermined angle with respect to each other and are brought closer to each other as they move away from the cutting surface (121 ). In this way, when the thrusting tooth (122) is placed on the element desired to be cut, the thrusting process takes place.

The cutting tooth (123), on the other hand, has an oval form (O) to cut the element desired to be cut. The oval form (O) is at least partially semicircular with respect to the cutting surface (121 ) of the cutting tooth (123). In this way, it is ensured that the cutting surface (121 ) of the cutting tooth (123) serves as a cutting function if it is rubbed on the element desired to be cut.

On the cutting element (10), the cutting tooth (123) and the thrusting tooth (122) are located in multiple numbers. The thrusting teeth (122) and the cutting teeth (123) are placed side by side in a predetermined order. In the preferred embodiment of the invention, while a plurality of cutting teeth (123) are placed side by side, there are thrusting teeth (122) between them. In a possible embodiment, three cutting teeth (123) are positioned side by side, while there is a thrusting tooth (122) next to them. The number of cutting teeth (123) positioned side by side in the cutting element (10) can be two or four when preferred. The change between these numbers may vary depending on the desired element to be interrupted.

There is at least one flat form (D) on one side of the cutting surface (121 ) of the cutting element (10). The said flat form (D) is essentially located at the farthest part of the cutting surface (121 ) of the handle (11). Thanks to this flat form (D), it is the part that allows the cutting element (10) to be thrust into the element to be cut. In this way, the functionality of the cutting element (10) is increased. CNC grinding machines are used in a possible manufacturing stage of the cutting element (10) subject to the invention. The mentioned CNC grinding machines allow precise dimensioning even in minimal dimensions thanks to computer-aided programming. In this way, the cutting properties are improved according to the knife forms known in the current art. With this whole embodiment, it is ensured that the bread desired to be cut in the current art can be cut in the desired way regardless of its freshness or staleness.

The scope of protection of the invention is specified in the attached claims and cannot be limited to those explained for sampling purposes in this detailed description. It is evident that a person skilled in the art may exhibit similar embodiments in light of the above-mentioned facts without drifting apart from the main theme of the invention.
