Abstract:
This crossed roller bearing comprises: an outer ring having a pair of outer ring raceway surfaces orthogonal to each other on the inner circumference; an inner ring that shares a common central axis with the outer ring and has a pair of inner ring raceway surfaces orthogonal to each other on the outer circumference; and a plurality of rollers arranged such that the directions of inclination thereof differ from each other in the circumferential direction between the outer ring raceway surfaces and the inner ring raceway surfaces. The outer ring and the inner ring are formed from a resin including at least one resin selected from the group consisting of polyether ether ketone (PEEK) resins, polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) resins, polyacetal (POM) resins, polyimide (PI) resins, polyamide imide (PAI) resins, polyamide (PA) resins, polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) resins, and polyethylene (PE) resins. The diameter d of the rollers and the length L of the rollers in the axial direction satisfy the relationship d × 0.97 > L.
