Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to prevent a gasket fitted into a groove in a housing of a thermostat device from falling off and to prevent leakage of coolant. The present invention provides a cover member 1 detachably attached to a thermostat device 10 provided with: a housing 2 having a body section which has an opening at one end and in which a groove is formed so as to surround the opening, and a pair of leg sections standing upright opposite each other from one end of the body section inside the groove; and a gasket 25 that fits into the groove, wherein the cover member is provided with a dish-shaped section 11 that has an insertion hole through which the pair of leg sections are inserted and that covers the gasket 25, and a cylindrical section which stands upright from an opening edge of the insertion hole and into which the pair of leg sections are press-fitted, and wherein a bellows section 13 is formed in a portion of the cylindrical section that faces the leg sections.
