Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a cord-shaped body transport assistance device and a cord-shaped body transport system which can reduce the burden during the transport of a cord-shaped body, allow smooth routing of the cord-shaped body, and prevent buckling of the cord-shaped body during transport. [Solution] A cord-shaped body 11 is flexible, and a rear end thereof is fixed. A cord-shaped body transport assistance device 14 is fixed between a distal end and the rear end of the cord-shaped body 11. The cord-shaped body transport assistance device 14 is configured to: support the cord-shaped body 11 at an attachment position thereof to the cord-shaped body 11 at a prescribed height from the ground surface; and move, when the distal end of the cord-shaped body 11 has moved, on the ground surface in accordance with a pre-set reference, on the basis of the shape of the cord-shaped body 11 extending from the attachment position thereof to the distal end side and/or rear end side of the cord-shaped body 11.
