Abstract:
A cord (12) for rubber reinforcement according to the present invention is provided with at least three strands. Each of the strands comprises at least one bundle of filaments and a first cover film which is provided so as to cover at least a part of the surface of the bundle of filaments. The bundle of filaments are substantially composed of aramid fiber filaments. The mass of the first cover film is within the range of 14-25% with respect to the mass of the bundle of filaments. Each of the strands is preliminarily twisted at 50-100 twists/m. At least three preliminarily twisted strands are bundled, and are finally twisted at 120-200 twists/m.
