Abstract:
This conveyance system is provided with a driven body and a plurality of conveyance units. The driven body is provided with a two-dimensional rack gear that has downward teeth and that is disposed on the bottom surface of the driven body. Each of the plurality of conveyance units is provided with: a first pinion gear that is engaged with the two-dimensional rack gear, rotates in a first rotation direction, transmits power to the two-dimensional rack, and conveys the driven body in a first conveyance direction; and a second pinion gear that is engaged with the two-dimensional rack gear, rotates in a second rotation direction different from the first rotation direction, transmits power to the two-dimensional rack, and conveys the driven body in a second conveyance direction. The plurality of conveyance units are disposed so as to be arranged in the first conveyance direction and/or the second conveyance direction.
