Abstract:
A controller for the driving system of a vehicle wherein the driving system extending from a power source to a driving wheel comprises a wheel control means for controlling the number of revolutions of the wheel, and a connecting mechanism for increasing/decreasing the torque transmission capacity between the power source and the driving wheel. The wheel control means comprises an abnormality detection means for detecting a state where the wheel control means can not control the number of revolutions of the wheel normally, a brake detection means for detecting a braking of the rotation of the wheel, and a torque interruption control means for reducing the torque transmission capacity of the connecting mechanism when the abnormality detection means detects a state where the wheel control means can not control the number of revolutions of the wheel normally and the brake detection means detects a braking of the rotation of the wheel.
