Abstract:
This control method for power transmission device includes: determining whether the deviation between the actual transmission ratio of a variator and the transmission ratio when a movable pulley touches a stopper or the transmission ratio when the movable pulley touches a stopper is at or below a predetermined value; and switching a selector valve when the deviation is determined to be at or below a predetermined value.
