Abstract:
In the present invention, the curvature of a plurality of corners constituting a continuous corner being traveled by a host vehicle is measured on the basis of map information; a continuous corner for which the average value of the curvature exceeds a first threshold value defined on the basis of the driving history of a driver or a remaining corner being traveled by the host vehicle after the driver has executed a prescribed driving operation during travel of the continuous corner is determined to be a specific continuous corner; on the basis of the curvature, a target speed calculation unit calculates a target speed by which the driver determines that acceleration/deceleration based on a pedal operation is unnecessary when the host vehicle is travelling a corner; a target deceleration force is calculated on the basis of the target speed for a corner being entered by the host vehicle and the speed of the host vehicle prior to entering the corner; the driving force of the host vehicle prior to entering the corner is corrected on the basis of the target deceleration force; the target deceleration force is updated every time a corner is passed in the specific continuous corner; and the driving force is corrected on the basis of the updated target deceleration force.
