Abstract:
A control device is a control device for a work machine provided with a rotating body that rotates about a rotation center, and a work implement attached to the rotating body. The control device is provided with an excavation start position determination unit. During automatic execution of an excavation operation and an earth removal operation via the work implement, and also of loading rotation and return rotation between the excavation operation and the earth removal operation, for each occurrence of the excavation operation, the excavation start position determination unit determines a starting position for the excavation operation on the basis of at least an excavation time required for the excavation operation and rotation times required for the loading rotation and the return rotation.
