A continuously variable transmission is provided with: a shaft (60) that is a rotational center; first and second rotating members (10, 20); a sun roller (30); a carrier (40); a plurality of planetary balls (50); a transmission device that changes the gear ratio between input and output by causing the respective planetary balls (50) to tilt; an output axle (21) connected to the second rotating member (20), the output axle (21) being provided with a first cylindrical portion (21a) that covers all of these from the outside in the radial direction; a ring-shaped member (23) that is connected to the output axle (21), the ring-shaped member (23) forming a ring-shaped oil sump (100) where lubricant collects along the inner peripheral surface of the first cylindrical portion (21a) during driving; and a scraping portion (91) that is disposed between the first rotating member (10) and the second rotating member (20) and further inside in the radial direction than the inner peripheral surface of the first cylindrical portion (21a), the scraping portion (91) being disposed further outside in the radial direction than the planetary balls (50) and scraping up lubricant by rotating in the peripheral direction.
