Abstract:
Provided are a continuous preparation system and a process method for single-wall carbon nanotubes, which belong to the technical field of new materials. The preparation system is formed by connecting a high-temperature reaction chamber (3) and a cooling unit (13) in series, and a vacuum, a gas circuit, a control, a cooling and a feeding system, etc. are used for providing assistance. According to the preparation method, by using the high temperature generated by a direct-current arc flame, a metal catalyst serving as a counter electrode is evaporated to form tiny catalyst particles; the tiny catalyst particles are rapidly combined with an organic carbon source from high temperature cracking to catalytically produce single-wall carbon nanotubes; same are cooled and then enter a gas-solid separator (9); the obtained single-wall carbon nanotubes are enriched and separated by means of a magnetic field; and finally, the gas-solid separator (9) is blown back using an inert gas to obtain the final product. According to the method, the catalyst is present in the form of ultrafine particles in a high-temperature growth state; the purity, the pipe diameter structure, etc. of the single-wall carbon nanotubes are truly and strictly regulated and controlled; and high-quality single-wall carbon nanotubes are continuously prepared. The device and the process are high in production efficiency and have an important industrialization value.
