Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a construction machine that is capable of allowing an operator to correctly recognize the cause of an alarm and prompting the operator to take an appropriate avoidance action in accordance with the likelihood of the machine body and an obstacle coming into contact with each other. For this purpose, in the case in which an obstacle detection device detects an obstacle in the area surrounding the machine body, a controller causes an alarm output device to output an alarm sound in which a warning by means of audio for notifying about the approach of the obstacle and a warning by means of a buzzer sound having an intensity set in accordance with the distance between the machine body and the obstacle are combined.
