Abstract:
A controller (8) sets a target flow rate of a regenerative hydraulic motor (71) to zero or to such a low flow rate that prevents a regeneration hydraulic path (16) from having a negative hydraulic pressure when a pressure (PS) detected by a pressure sensor (18) is less than a first setting value (P1) preset by an overload relief valve (10, 12). When the detected pressure is equal to or greater than the first setting value, the controller (8) sets the target flow rate of the regenerative hydraulic motor to a value associated with the detected pressure and controls the RPM of the power generator/motor (72) so that the flow rate of the regenerative hydraulic motor takes on the target flow rate. This makes it possible to assure the same good operability as before.
