Abstract:
The present invention comprises an outer joint member and joint inner components that are stored in the outer joint member. A shaft is fitted with an inner joint member. A cup bottom that restricts movement of the joint inner components to a counter shaft-fitted-side in a normal state where an impact in an abnormal state is not provided is formed in the counter shaft-fitted-side of the outer joint member. The cup bottom has a cutting portion that is cut when there is an impact in the abnormal state that moves the joint inner components to the counter shaft-fitted-side.
