Abstract:
An inside joint member 20 comprises: a bottomed concave holding unit 24 where a sleeve 50 supporting a boot that covers an opening is press-fitted on the opening side of an outside joint member 10; and a recessed part 25 which is provided in part of a convex outer spherical surface 21 on the opening side, and which corresponds to the press-fitting area where the sleeve 50 of the holding unit 24 is press fitted, and is smaller in diameter than the outer diameter of the convex outer spherical surface 21.
