Abstract:
A connector (10) comprises a housing (11) that can be mated with an opposing housing, and a mating sensing member (30) that is permitted to move from a provisional lock position to a main lock position when the housing and the opposing housing are normally mated with each other. The housing comprises a lock arm (14) that extends in a cantilever fashion and is formed to be deformable by flexing. The lock arm comprises a lock portion (15) that can be locked on the opposing housing, and a pair of arm portions (16) disposed on either side of the lock portion and extending on the free end side of the lock arm beyond the lock portion. The pair of arm portions each comprise a lock-receiving portion (18). The mating sensing member comprises a sense arm (32). The sense arm comprises a stopper portion (34) disposed on a tip-end portion, and two locking-protrusion portions (35) disposed on either side of the stopper portion. As the stopper portion is locked on the lock portion and the locking-protrusion portions are locked on the lock-receiving portion, movement of the mating sensing member from the provisional lock position to the main lock position is limited.
