Abstract:
A connector for straight push connecting pipes includes a connector body (3) having a through hole (2) into which the pipe (1) to be connected inserts. A sealing rubber ring (5) that forms water sealing with the pipe body of the pipe (1) to be connected is provided in the through hole (2). Two ends of the through hole (2) are two shoulder holes with the inner sides larger than the outer sides. The small hole formed at the outer side is a sealing section (6) whose internal diameter is adapted to the external diameter of the pipe (1) to be connected. The large hole at the inner side is a flared hole (7) with the large opening facing inside. A spacing is formed between the inner wall of the flared hole (7) and the pipe (1) to be connected. The sealing rubber ring (5) is installed at the most inner side of the spacing. An elastic opening clamp ring (8) is placed in the spacing and a clamp ring groove (9) corresponding to the elastic opening clamp ring (8) is formed on the outside of the pipe (1) to be connected. The groove of the connector body of the connecting pipes is formed directly on the inner wall of the flared hole, so it can prevent the connector body from generating a large curvature change in a short length. The connector body can be manufactured by cold expanding pipes in one-step profile modeling, thus saving raw materials and reducing cost.
