Brief Description of the Drawings [9] The above and other objects, features and other advantages of the present invention will be more clearly understood from the following detailed description taken in conjunction with the accompanying drawings, in which: [10] Fig. 1 is a perspective view illustrating a connecting section of the connecting structure for steel pipes according to the present invention; and [11] Fig. 2 is a cross-sectional view of the connecting section in Fig. 1.

Best Mode for Carrying Out the Invention [12] Hereinafter, the connecting structure for steel pipes according to the present invention will be described in detail.

[13] Fig. 1 is a perspective view illustrating a connecting section of the connecting structure for steel pipes according to the present invention.

[14] In the drawing, the connecting structure for steel pipes according to the present invention includes a first steel pipe 1, a second steel pipe 3, and an expanded portion 2 at the rear end of the first steel pipe 1, so that the second steel pipe 3 is compulsorily inserted into the expanded portion 2.

[15] The expanded portion 2 of the first steel pipe 1 is formed with a discharging port 4 having a discharging valve 5 at the outer side thereof, and is formed with an injection port 6 having an injection valve 10 at the lower side thereof.

[16] Fig. 2 is a cross-sectional view of the connecting section in Fig. 1 illustrating the connecting structure for steel pipes according to the present invention in detail.

[17] In the drawing, it can be understood that the connecting structure connects the first steel pipe 1 to the second steel pipe 3 in a manner that the second steel pipe 3 is inserted into the expanded portion 2 formed at the rear side of the first steel pipe 1.

[18] The expanded portion 2 of the first steel pipe 1 is formed with the discharging port 4 and the injection port 6 penetrating the expanded portion 2 at the upper and lower sides thereof, while the discharging port 4 is installed with the discharging valve 5 for opening and closing the discharging port 4, and the injection port 6 is installed with the injection valve 10 for opening and closing the injection port 6.

[19] Moreover, in the connecting structure for steel pipes according to the present invention, buffering packings 8 and 9 are disposed between the expanded portion 2 of the first steel pipe 1 and the leading end of the second steel pipe 3 inserted into the expanded portion 2, the adhesive 7 is filled between the expanded portion 2 of the first steel pipe 1, the leading end of the second steel pipe 3, and the packings 8 and 9, so that the connection between the first and second steel pipes 1 and 3 is completed.

[20] Here, rubber having sealing and buffering characteristics, or the like having sufficient elasticity satisfies the condition of materials for the packings 8 and 9. The packings 8 and 9 have a ring-shape surrounding the second steel pipe 3, and it is preferred that the packing 8 has a circular cross-section and the packing 9 has a sloped cross-section. As the adhesive 7, epoxy, or a strong adhesive material is used.

[21] Hereinafter, the connecting method according to the connecting structure for steel pipes of the present invention will be described.

[22] First, the first and second steel pipes 1 and 3 are prepared, and the expanded portion 2 is formed at the end of the first steel pipe 1 (the steel manufacturer can be ordered to manufacture the first steel pipe 1 with the expanded portion 2).

[23] Next, the ring-shaped packings 8 and 9 are disposed by a distance on the end of the second steel pipe 3, in a manner that the packing 8 is disposed at the end of the second steel pipe 3 and the packing 9 is disposed at the leading end of the expanded portion 2.

[24] By doing so, there is formed a space, in which the adhesive 7 is filled, between the expanded portion 2 of the first steel pipe 1, the leading end of the second steel pipe 3, and the packings 8 and 9.

[25] In the state of opening the discharging valve 5 of the discharging port 4, the injection valve 10 of the injection port 6 formed at the lower side of the expanded portion 2 is opened so as to fill the space with a predetermined amount of the adhesive 7. If the adhesive fluid 7 is discharged out of the discharging port 4, the discharging valve 5 is closed. Continuously, the space is filled with the adhesive 7. When the filling of the adhesive 7 is finished, the injection valve 10 is closed and then the connected steel pipes 1 and 3 are covered with soil, so that the connection between the steel pipes 1 and 3 is naturally completed under the ground. Thus, the connection between the first and second steel pipes 1 and 3 can be completed in a short time in comparison to the conventional connection manner.

[26] Meanwhile, although the connecting structure for steel pipes according to the present invention has been described by an example which the discharging port 4 and the injection port 6 are formed at the pipes 1 and 3, and the connected pipes 1 and 3 are buried as it is, since the discharging port 4 and the injection port 6 are detachably mounted to the outer side of the expanded portion 2, it is possible to separate the discharging port 4 and the injection port 6 from the expanded portion and to bury the connected pipes 1 and 3 after the adhesive process using the adhesive 7 is finished.

[27] Although the preferred embodiments of the present invention have been disclosed for illustrative purposes, those skilled in the art will appreciate that various modi- fications, additions and substitutions are possible, without departing from the scope and spirit of the invention as disclosed in the accompanying claims.
