Abstract:

A connecting rod for supporting a torque used when an engine is supportedly mounted on a body, wherein a rod main body (1) comprises two sheets of rod plates (11) and (12) connected to both tube bodies (2) and (3) in parallel with each other with the plate faces opposed to each other, a mass member (6) is inserted between the both plates through a rubber elastic body (7), generally longitudinal center parts of the both plates are formed as holding parts (11c) and (12c) having inner parts formed generally in circular shapes, and the mass member (6) is inserted between the both plates through the rubber elastic body by press-fit means so as to position the mass member generally at the center inside the holding parts, whereby the mass member for providing a function as a dynamic damper can be installed easily on the rod main body by suppressing the extension thereof to the outside, tuning can be facilitated, and assembling performance and mountability of the mass member can be improved.
