Abstract:
A sintered metallic connecting rod 10 has a pair of annular portions (large end portion 11 and small end portion 12) and a stem portion 13 that connects the annular portions. Recess portions 11a1 and 12a1 that are retreated toward the stem portion 13 side are provided in circumferential regions W1 and W2 of connection parts respectively connecting the large end portion 11 and the stem portion 13 with each other and the small end portion 12 and the stem portion 13 with each other in inner circumferential surfaces 11a and 12a of the large end portion 11 and the small end portion 12.
