Abstract:
A conductive roll in which occurrence of a poor image, e.g. a black streak, caused by occurrence of leak due to aggregation of carbon black or the like is prevented and its inspection method. In the conductive roll having at least one rubber elastic layer composed of a conductive rubber exhibiting ion conductivity and containing fine carbon powder on the outer circumference of a core metal, the following relation is satisfied between the maximum value Ѳmax and minimum value Ѳmin of the phase difference Ѳ in the frequency range of 100 mHz-10 kHz when an AC voltage of 1.0V is applied to the rubber elastic body.
