Abstract:
A concentration device (100A) is for concentrating a solution containing biological substances, and comprises: a first chamber (5a) into which the solution is injected; a second chamber (5b) which is filled with a drawing agent (6); a film (3) which separates a space (1) of the first chamber (5a) from a space (2) of the second chamber (5b); and a carrier (4) which is disposed on the film (3) in the first chamber (5a). The film (3) is semi-permeable and exhibits permeability to the solvent of the solution but does not exhibit permeability to biological substances or the drawing agent (6). The carrier (4) has a porous structure.
