Abstract:
Provided is a compound represented by formula (1). In formula (1), Ar11, Ar12, and Ar13 represent a 1,4-phenylene group, a 1,4-naphthylene group, or a divalent aromatic condensed heterocyclic group having two five-membered rings, and at least one of Ar11, Ar12, and Ar13 represents a divalent aromatic condensed heterocyclic group. k represents 1 or 2. R11, R12, R13, and R14 represent a hydrogen atom, a linear or cyclic aliphatic group, or an aryl group. At least one set of: R11 and R12; and R13 and R14 may be connected to each other to form a ring in which at least one of the methylene units constituting the ring may be substituted with an oxygen atom or a carbonyl group. At least one of R11, R12, R13, and R14 may be substituted with at least one of an organosilyloxy group or a polymerizable group.
