Abstract:
The present invention relates to a composition for treating, alleviating or preventing kidney diseases and, more particularly, to a pharmaceutical or food composition for treating, alleviating or preventing kidney diseases, containing, as an active ingredient, PGF2α, a PGF2α agonist and/or a PGF2α analogue. The composition containing PGF2α, a PGF2α agonist and/or PGF2α analogue, according to the present invention, can exhibit the effect of treating or preventing kidney damage caused by antibiotics. Particularly, since the effect can be achieved without influencing the antibacterial effectiveness of antibiotics, the composition can be effectively used as a material for treating, alleviating or preventing kidney diseases.
