Title:
COMPOSITE COMPRISING ARRAY OF ACICULAR CRYSTAL, PROCESS FOR PRODUCING THE SAME, PHOTOELECTRIC CONVERSION ELEMENT, LUMINESCENT ELEMENT, AND CAPACITOR
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2006/129733
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
This invention provides a composite comprising a substrate and an array of acicular crystal formed on the surface of the substrate, wherein, regarding the array, the substrate side and the opposite side of the substrate can be well separated from each other. This composite (10) comprises a transparent electrode (2) constituting the substrate, an array (4) of acicular crystals (3) formed on the transparent electrode (2), and a film (15) covering the surface of the acicular crystal (3). The acicular crystal (3) is formed of, for example, zinc oxide, and the film (15) comprises, for example, titanium oxide. The array (4) comprises a first region (R1) on the transparent electrode (2) side and a second region (R2) on the opposite side of the transparent electrode (2) with respect to the first region (R1). The proportion of the cross section of the acicular crystal (3) occupied by the face parallel to the surface of the transparent electrode (2) is lower in the second region (R2) than the first region (R1), and the surface of the transparent electrode (2) is substantially covered by the acicular crystal (3) in the first region (R1).
