Abstract:
This component supply system comprises: component storage tools that have attached thereto component storage tapes having specifications prescribed in accordance with the types of components; a plurality of feeders that have mounting units to which the component storage tools are mounted; and a component supply management device that has a processing unit that performs a process for managing the plurality of feeders. The plurality of feeders have different component supply region unit structures for each component storage tape specification. The processing unit of the component supply management device performs a spare component recognition process and an extraction process. In the spare component recognition process, the processing unit recognizes a spare component storage tool to which is attached the component supply tape that contains a spare component. In the extraction process, the processing unit extracts, from the plurality of feeders, a plurality of useable feeders that are useable with the spare component storage tool, on the basis of feeder identification information that is set in accordance with the component supply region unit structure and that is for identifying each of the plurality of feeders.
