Abstract:
The component mounting machine of the present disclosure is provided with a lighting unit capable of shining light onto a substrate under a plurality of different lighting conditions, an imaging unit that captures an image of the substrate from above the substrate, and a control unit that controls the lighting unit and the imaging unit so that, defining one component as a target component, an area where the target component is to be mounted on the substrate as a target area, a state where the target component is not in the target area as a component-not-present state, and a state where the target component is in the target area as a component-present state, images of the component-not-present state and images of the component-present state are captured under a plurality of different lighting conditions, calculates a degree of similarity between the images of the component-not-present state and the images of the component-present state for each lighting condition, and sets, on the basis of the degree of similarity, an inspection lighting condition for inspecting the target component. When setting the inspection lighting condition on the basis of the degree of similarity, the control unit may, for example, set the lighting condition with the lowest degree of similarity among the plurality of different lighting conditions as the inspection lighting condition.
